Perry arrives after overseeing growth of Fredericksburg Nationals
OMAHA, Nebr. (September 2, 2026) – Union Omaha today announced the hiring of Robert Perry as their Chief Marketing Officer. The arrival of Perry marks another step forward in the Owls’ growth as they establish themselves in downtown Omaha.
“Robert brings a wealth of knowledge on the marketing side, but most importantly, he brings with him a track record of leading a first-class fan experience,” said Club President Nick Hall. “His experience leading fan engagement in a sold-out venue and helping build a stadium and brand is exactly what we need as we enter this new chapter in Omaha.”
Perry was most recently the General Manager of the Fredericksburg Nationals, a day-to-day oversight role over all business operations that he had held since 2023. He was one of the Nationals’ original employees, having previously been their Vice President of Creative Services as they moved from Potomac in 2019, and helped build both the organization and its new stadium from the ground up.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be in Omaha and join Union Omaha,” Perry said. “This is an incredibly successful organization with a passionate fan base and a very bright future. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of it, and I can’t wait to help build on the strong foundation already in place.”
Perry’s professional experience stretches back to his time with the Jackson Generals, as their Director of In-Game Entertainment for three years. He attended Liberty University, and worked in marketing for their men’s hockey team. Now, he moves to Nebraska in order to oversee Union Omaha’s marketing efforts in advance of their downtown stadium’s opening and a new era for the USL League One club.

The Owls have also moved downtown to Creighton’s Morrison Stadium for the 2026 USL League One season, making for an electric new atmosphere in the heart of Omaha.
