Union Omaha announced today that it will host Sporting KC II for a preseason friendly, presented by FNBO, at Werner Park on Saturday, April 17 at 2 p.m.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Sporting KCII to Werner Park and test ourselves against such a strong team,” said General Manager, Peter Marlette. “It is sure to be a great day at the park for our fans and the perfect tune up for our players before the League One season begins.”
Omaha-native, Ozzie Cisneros, who signed his first professional contract with Sporting KC, may appear on the field in his hometown for the first-time ever as a professional.
Tickets for this friendly and the home opener, which will take place Saturday, April 24, against South Georgia Tormenta FC, are now available for purchase online at tickets.https://www.unionomaha.com, by calling the Ticket Office at 402.738.5100 or in person from Monday through Friday and match days starting at noon to 5 p.m. The Ticket Office will open at 10 a.m. for the single-match tickets on sale Thursday, March 25.
