OMAHA, Nebr. (November 12, 2019) – Union Omaha is pleased to announce that the Nebraska State Soccer Assocation (NSSA) will be the “Official Youth Soccer Partner” for the inaugural professional soccer season in 2020. As part of the partnership, Tranquility Soccer Complex will become a key outdoor training facility for Union Omaha. Recently, Union Omaha used the Tranquility Soccer Complex for their Open Tryout on November 9th.
“Union Omaha is incredibly excited to partner with the Nebraska State Soccer Association to support their youth soccer development efforts moving forward,” said Union Omaha COO Matt Homonoff. “We take our mission to both celebrate the game and educate fans across Nebraska to heart. Supporting the NSSA’s programming and showcasing our professional players as role models for the next generation of local talent will help us succeed in that mission.”
The Nebraska State Soccer Association represents over 25,000 youth and adult soccer players, 3,000 coaches, 800 referees and 500 administrators throughout the State of Nebraska. NSSA is one of the few state associations that handle both youth and adult programs which allows members of all ages to work together statewide for the same vision, mission and values.
